Small Business Sanity Social Running a small business can sometimes feel lonely, so why not join us for our Small Business Sanity Social? Held upstairs on the second floor above the shop, this is a relaxed and welcoming space to simply have a chat with other like-minded small business owners. This isn't a networking event or a formal meeting—there's no agenda, no presentations, and no pressure. Just come along for a cuppa, a biscuit, and a good conversation. If you've got a question, need a bit of advice, or just want to talk through something with people who understand the ups and downs of running a business, you're more than welcome. There are no silly questions, no judgement, and no right or wrong things to say. We're all in this together, so let's support one another, share our experiences, and have a laugh along the way. After all, a problem shared is a problem halved.

Sanity Social Booking Policy Welcome to Small Business Sanity Social – a relaxed, supportive space for small business owners to connect, chat, and encourage one another. By booking a place, you agree to the following: ### Only book the spaces you require. There's very limited spots available so please only book spaces required and please give notice if you would like to cancel your space so another person can make use of the space. ### A Safe and Supportive Space Sanity Social is a safe space where everyone is treated with kindness, respect, and understanding. We want everyone to feel comfortable sharing their experiences, asking questions, and supporting one another. ### Be Kind Our only real rule is simple: **be kind**. We have a zero-tolerance approach to bullying, discrimination, harassment, or behaviour that makes others feel uncomfortable. If anyone behaves in a way that doesn't reflect the welcoming and supportive nature of Sanity Social, they may be asked to leave the meeting. Yellow Umbrella reserves the right to cancel or refuse bookings from anyone who does not respect these values. ### Who Can Attend? Sanity Social is open to anyone who owns or runs a small business and wants to spend time with other small business owners in a relaxed, supportive environment. ### This Is Not a Networking Event Sanity Social is not a formal networking meeting. There are no pitches, presentations, or expectations to promote your business. Of course, if conversations naturally lead to helpful recommendations, collaborations, or the sharing of contact details, that's absolutely welcome. The aim is to support one another, not to sell to one another. ### No Selling Please don't use the meeting to actively sell your products or services, hand out sales material, or approach attendees with sales pitches. We want everyone to be able to relax, chat openly, and enjoy the company of people who understand the realities of running a small business. ### Our Community Running a business can sometimes feel isolating, but it doesn't have to. Sanity Social is about creating a community where people can share ideas, celebrate wins, talk through challenges, and leave feeling supported. Come along, grab a cuppa, enjoy a biscuit, and remember—you don't have to do business alone.
